Who are the sessions for?
Students from Grade 9 through 12. Every session is one-to-one and built around your current level and goals.
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes — your first trial lesson is completely free, with no commitment. We use it to understand your goals, assess your level, and sketch a learning plan.
Are sessions online or in person?
Both. In-person sessions are available across the Greater Toronto Area; online sessions run worldwide via Zoom or Google Meet, in English or Amharic.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
No problem — cancel or reschedule any session free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
How do you track progress?
You receive session notes after every class, and we set measurable milestones toward your goal — whether that’s a grade target, an exam, or a job-ready portfolio.
How much does tutoring cost?
Our one-on-one tutoring rate is $35 per hour. Fanatutor provides personalized instruction tailored to each student's learning needs, goals, and academic level.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes! Students who attend the same tutoring session together receive group discounts:
- 2 students: 20% off — approximately $28/student/hour
- 3 students: 30% off — approximately $25/student/hour
- 4 students: 40% off — approximately $21/student/hour
